New release “Ho Setsu”

Lately we have been making music for traditional japanese martial arts videos.

We just release the extended version of one of those songs, the name is Ho Setsu (that’s the name of the performed video’s technique).

For a section of the lyrics we use an excerpt from a poem written by the founder of the lineage to which that technique belongs:

“There is no village upon which the moonlight does not fall, but in the mind of he who looks there is”.

The song “Haab”

The song “Haab” is inspired by the 365 days Mayan calendar also called “the long count”.

Where the pre-Hispanic culture and its worldview propose that there are times for everything, that the omens of the future can be changed and at the end of the year there are 5 days where one must purify oneself and be left alone with the experience learned to begin a new fresh cycle.
